Value is NOT a Commodity

Often people assign their Internet assets as common operations and the hosting providers as simply commodity providers.  The fact of the matter is that like outstanding providers in other markets, hosting of your digital assets really does make a difference to the overall experience both your internal and external customers have with your company.  Most of us don't want to have doctors or surgeons who only provide the best price while forgoing quality of facility, staff to support the procedure or training.  Chances are good that if you survive the operation, you will end up with a nasty infection or other unpleasant side effect.  Same goes with your network.  Having a specialist manage your network life is critical to its well being and overall health.

Getting a high level of performance does not exclude getting a good value.   Everyone seeks a good value.   The delta between the meeting/exceeding of expectations and offering those services at a price that is fair and supports the delivery of the customer’s high expectations is ultimately the definition of value.  A "good price" on the other hand as the primary criteria for supplier selection is really the last reason to choose any provider who will help in delivering your data assets consistently.

We have assembled some of the key reasons why performance is so critical to the managed services process in an easy to read, self-guided presentation that identifies the difference between cost and performance.   Activating the button “See the Difference” below will take you to the presentation.
